I really like that comparison. I remember seeing a Black Mirror episode where instead of ‘likes’ people would give ratings, and if you had less than a 3 star rating you were pretty much screwed. It’s insane because while we don’t actually do anything like that in this world, we sure feel like we do if we don’t get as many likes on a photo as we feel we should have.

But I completely agree, social media should be made light of, just as advertising.
